IAAO, IPTI presented online mass appraisal symposium
The online Mass Appraisal Valuation Symposium took place June 22-23 and planning for 2023 is under review. The
International Property Tax Institute (IPTI) and IAAO presented the virtual symposium covering “Applications and Challenges.”
Symposium Information
The online symposium featured five session areas, with individual topics. The session areas were:
- Current Applications and Challenges - Experience Sharing
- Property Tax Administration and Best Practice
- Real Estate Markets and Mass Appraisal Applications in Turbulent Times
- Valuation, Data and Technology
- Recent Advancements and Developments
The programs were approved for 11.5 continuing credit hours from IAAO, 10 learning hours from the Alberta Assessors' Association, 10 continuing professional development (CPD) hours from RICS, and up to 10.5 Learning Hours and one general hour from the Institute of Municipal Assessors.
