Scott Russell, AAS, PPS, RES, is a second-year member of the IAAO Board of Directors representing Region 3. He is also the Property Appraiser for Monroe County, Florida. He received a Bachelor of Science, Real Estate (Florida State University), Fee Appraiser (1991-2007), State Certified Residential Real Estate Appraiser (1995-2003), State Certified General Real Estate Appraiser (2003-present).
His public sector experience includes Monroe County Property Appraiser’s Office (January 2007), was promoted to Assistant Property Appraiser (2011), and elected as Property Appraiser for Monroe County (2012). He was re-elected in 2016, 2020, and 2024.
