Lloyd Funk, CAE is a second-year member of the IAAO Board of Directors, representing Region 2. Outside of IAAO he is the Director of Assessment Services, Provincial Municipal Assessor in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
He has more than 28 years experience in the field of property assessment includes 13 years as a frontline property assessor inspecting and determining assessments for residential, farm and ICI (Industrial, Commercial and Investment) properties.
He has achieved multiple designations in property assessment including the CAE through IAAO and Accredited Assessor of Manitoba through IAAO affiliate, the Association of Assessing Officers of Manitoba (AAOM). Through the University of British Columbia School of Business, he attained the Certificate in Real Property Assessment. In addition, he has also attained certificates as a Certified Service Manager through the Institute of Citizen-Centered Service and Senior Leadership Excellence through York University’s Schulich School of Business. He is currently working on the University of Manitoba’s Municipal Administrator Certificate Program.
Mr. Funk has been an IAAO member for more than 10 years and earned the Certified Assessment Evaluator designation. He has served on IAAO committees and task forces including Chapters and Affiliates, Membership, Designation Equivalencies, and Diversity and Inclusion.
