Leann Ritter, CAE, is the Director of Strategic Partnerships. She joined IAAO when the association moved from Chicago in June of 2005.
Ms. Ritter is responsible for identifying, developing, and managing high-impact relationships that help IAAO reach its long-term goals. The role involves evaluating potential partners, negotiating and structuring mutually beneficial agreements, and overseeing the partnerships from launch through execution.
Prior to joining IAAO, Ms. Ritter served in multiple roles with the American Association of Retired Persons (AARP). She worked with government, business and volunteer publics to conduct and coordinate work force education programs both locally and across a five-state area.
In 2009, Ms. Ritter earned her Certified Association Executive (CAE) designation form the American Society of Association Executives. She holds a Master of Science degree with an emphasis in Gerontology from Eastern Illinois University.
