Elly Urriola joined the Professional Development Department of IAAO as the Credentialing Coordinator in June 2026.
Elly holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She has research experience in biological physics and quantum hardware simulation. She relied on this experience while working as a patent engineer for a boutique law firm, before joining IAAO.
She credits her drive to help people and passion for lifelong learning for her success as a patent engineer.
In her free time, Elly enjoys running races around Kansas City, programming computer games, and tutoring math.
