Anita Lara, CMP is Senior Director of Meetings and Events and joined the organization in May 2021.
Ms. Lara has spent 25 years in the Meetings industry, specifically working with associations. Prior to meetings, Ms. Lara’s background included working in operations of the financial and legal industries.
Ms. Lara earned her Certified Meeting Professional designation from the Events Industry Council in 2009.
Although Ms. Lara was born and raised in Dallas, Texas, she has worked and lived abroad in Europe and Asia and several US states.
