This two-day workshop is designed to provide the student who plans on attending IAAO programs with an understanding of the mathematical concepts and techniques applied in the appraisal and assessment administration disciplines. It is designed for both the beginning student who has limited knowledge of mathematics and those students who wish to refresh their mathematical skills. Topics covered include a review of the basic mathematical functions; negative numbers; decimals; percentages; exponents; roots; mathematical notation; algebra; statistics; and graphs.
