Legal Seminar registration open

July 15 – Registration is now open for the 2025 IAAO Legal Seminar, set for Dec. 11-12 in Phoenix at the Renaissance Phoenix Downtown Hotel. The theme for the seminar is “Property Taxation and the Law: Challenges and Solutions” and attendees will hear from industry experts on legal topics of interest to members of the assessment and property tax industry.

Registration

Attendees may register online, and fees are $630 for IAAO members and $840 for nonmembers until Nov. 7. From Nov. 8 to Nov. 28 fees increase to $740 for members and $998 for nonmembers. After Nov. 28, the onsite registration rate is $885 for members and $1,190 for nonmembers.

Session Topics Needed

Full session descriptions and a brochure will be available in September and the IAAO Legal Committee is currently accepting program topic proposals for the 2025 IAAO Legal Seminar. A list of potential topics is available online, and the deadline to submit has been extended until August 1. Registration discounts of $150 are available to speakers, with an expected maximum awarded of two discounts per session.

Continuing Legal Education

Attendees will receive IAAO continuing education credits, and IAAO will file for Continuing Legal Education credits for attendees requesting CLEs by Oct. 3. The amount of CLE credit varies by state. Requests for CLE credit must be made no later than Oct. 3. Note: Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credits are not the same as CEUs.
