IAAO Board of Directors, Region 1
Since joining IAAO in 2021, I’ve had the opportunity to engage with the organization through committee and task force service, consistent participation in annual conferences, and presenting at the 2024 Annual Conference. Those experiences have shaped how I view the role IAAO plays—not just as a professional organization, but as a driver of standards, education, and long-term stability across the assessment profession.
We’re at a point where the profession is evolving quickly. Data, systems, workforce challenges, and
public expectations are all changing at the same time. I believe IAAO has a critical role in helping
assessment offices navigate that shift while staying grounded in sound principles and standards.
I’m grateful for the opportunity to be part of this profession and am
looking forward to continuing to serve at a broader level.
If elected, my goals include:
- Strengthening professional education and development
- Expanding meaningful engagement across regions and jurisdictions
- Supporting practical, standards-based approaches to assessment administration
- Contributing to a strong, stable, and forward-looking organization
