The SEE IAAO Chapter organization shall encompass Southeastern Europe and other interested countries. The first and founding National Government Member of the SEE IAAO is the Republic Geodetic Authority of Serbia. As such, the Association is Headquartered in Belgrade, Serbia.
The purpose of SEE IAAO is the advancement of the objectives of the IAAO (International Association of Assessing Officers) in Southeastern Europe. The Association aims to develop professionalism in valuation administration, to raise the standards of the profession, to gain recognition by governmental authorities of the valuation profession, to gain for members’ recognition as qualified, objective, and unbiased valuers of property.
SEE IAAO shall also work to educate the public regarding the ad valorem system and work to provide a clearinghouse for the collection and distribution of useful information relating to valuation practice; and in every proper way to promote justice and equity in the distribution of the tax burden.
