Professionals in this role perform work of routine difficulty under the immediate supervision of a more senior professional. This work typically involves collecting property information and appraising real estate for assessment purposes.
Appraiser-Real Estate
Professionals in this role perform work of considerable difficulty in appraising real estate for tax assessment purposes under the supervision of a senior professional.
Appraiser-Personal Property
Professionals in this role perform work of considerable difficulty in appraising personal property for tax assessment purposes under the supervision of a senior professional.
Appraiser Supervisor
Professionals in this role supervise units responsible for the appraisal of all real estate located within an assigned geographical area of the jurisdiction.
Assessment Administrator
Professionals in this role supervise the assessment of all real and personal property within the jurisdiction in compliance with relevant state statutes and regulations.
CAMA Systems Modeler/Statistician
Professionals in this role perform the technical work to develop and maintain valuation models within computer assisted mass appraisal systems.
Tax Policy Analyst
Professionals in this role work with minimal direct supervision to analyze property tax policies and proposals that directly impact assessment functions. They report findings to the Chief Assessment Administrator and serve as a liaison to members of the legislature.
Mapping Technician
Professionals in this role work under the supervision of a Chief Assessment Administrator to develop and maintain a complete and effective cadastral mapping system.
State Regulator
Professionals in this role provide oversight and assistance to assessment personnel at the jurisdictional level.
