Conference Speaker Resources

IAAO has been working with JDC, our virtual conference company to provide you with details of the recording of your conference session.  You will be contacted by JDC Events to set up an “office visit” via Zoom.  These office visits will primarily take place the week of July 27 and are intended to help you prepare for recording your session. JDC will go over things such as lighting, background, WiFi speed etc.  The visits should take about 30 minutes and will be conducted in small groups.

Presenters will be able to determine how much assistance is needed from JDC Events.  Any recording with JDC assistance will take place August 3 through 14.  You will need to have any PowerPoint you wish to include ready prior to August 3.  Be sure to watch for an email from JDC Events for scheduling.  (Sometimes emails make their way to spam folders – so check there if you haven’t seen something in your Inbox.)

Note the following important information related to your presentation:

  • The IAAO conference slide (PowerPoint) should be utilized. The template and instructions can be found here.
  • By July 15, all speakers need to submit the virtual conference Presenter Letter of Agreement.
  • By July 15, all presenters in a session should provide biographical information.  Information needs to be in paragraph format with a maximum of 200 words. If biographies were provided at the time of presentation submission, a new version is not required.
  • Presenters are expected to register for the conference. The IAAO Executive Board has approved a discounted rate of $100 off the regular posted rate. Any other discounted rates (e.g. exhibitors) take precedence.

To register for the conference online, click on the “Login to Register” button.  To register via hard copy, download the paper form. Write in a rate of $100 off the current applicable rate (time frame and member or nonmember) and write “Speaker” below the rate. Registration fees increase as the conference start date approaches.  July 31 is the early bird cut-off date.

Scholarships for conference attendance may be available. Information is available on the IAAO website.
