Register for GIS/CAMA Conference Feb. 25-28 in Portland & take advantage of hotel rate at Portland Marriott
The upcoming GIS/CAMA Technologies Conference will take place Feb. 25-28 at the Portland Marriott Downtown Waterfront Hotel in Portland, Oregon and a $189 single/double hotel room rate will be available until February 1 (or until the room block is depleted).
 
Registration and additional information about the conference is available through the URISA website and can be reached at www.iaao.org/giscamaConference fees are $615 for IAAO and URISA members and $765 for nonmembers until February 22. One-day and student registrations are also available.
 
The agenda includes keynote addresses (including a discussion on the Geospatial Data Act and a comprehensive look at the effects of legal marijuana in jurisdictions), professional development and networking events, and the abundance of concurrent breakout sessions in focused program tracks.

WORKSHOPS
In a new addition this year, one full or half-day workshop is included with registration. The workshops on Monday February 25th are: 
•  Improving Appraisal Performance: Intuitively Understanding and Enhancing Sales Ratio Studies with GIS 
•  Introduction to GIS for Assessment Professionals 
•  Preparing for GISP Certification 
•  Parcel Fabric (half-day) 
 RECENTLY ADDED - Extending the Capabilities and Offerings of your GIS: A guided tour of Esri’s Developer Resources
 
Programs of note include “Getting Started with Modeling”; “Planning and Implementing your CAMA System”; “High Definition Imagery for Any Size Jurisdiction”; and “Go Big with Data: Automating and Accelerating Data Capture.”
