As an attorney, champion for women, collaborator, mother, and small business mentor, Dana Brooks is one of Tallahassee's 25 Women You Need to Know. She began her career in clinical social work but felt called to advocacy and problem-solving.
 
Join us as Dana discusses her new book, Functional Feminism: An Apolitical Guide to Women's Empowerment, released on Amazon. Conversations are free, and all are welcome!

Annual Conference WIN Events
WIN Conference Luncheon speaker
Jennifer D. Scott, general counsel for the Windjam Companies, will be the speaker at the Women’s Initiative Network Luncheon on Wednesday, Aug. 30, at this year’s IAAO Annual Conference in Salt Lake City. Tickets for the luncheon are $40 and are available when registering or by contacting IAAO Meetings Coordinator Rachel Mense if you have already registered. Scott is recognized as a Real Property Law Specialist by the North Carolina State Bar, having both the Residential Transactions and the Business, Commercial, and Industrial Transactions specialty designations.
 
Sign-up for morning yoga at the Annual Conference
Attending the IAAO Annual Conference in Salt Lake City, Aug. 27-30? Then join your fellow attendee for a morning yoga class! Classes will be Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 6:00-6:30 am at the conference. There is no cost and you can sign-up as part of registration.
