New self-study version of 101 available
Online courses, webinars on sale during April
IAAO is now offering an online self-study version of Course 101 - Fundamentals of Real Property Appraisal, and during April members can sign up for the course, other online courses, and webinars at a discounted price.
All online courses (offered in April OR in the future) will be available for 15% off the member rate for IAAO members who sign up during the month of April. Just use code ECOURSE15OFF during checkout to receive the benefit.
IAAO also is offering 50% off any previously recorded webinar purchased during the month of April. IAAO members can use coupon code WEBINAR50OFF during checkout for the webinar discount.
In addition to the self-study version of Course 101, a cohort version is scheduled to begin on Monday, April 6. In the self-study students move at their own pace to complete the course. In the cohort version, the group of students who sign up for the course will get a chapter a week to work on and have an instructor available for assistance with the class.
Also during April, additional online classes will be offered, including Course 201 - Appraisal of Land and Course 112 - Income Approach to Valuation II as “live online” courses, which includes the digital delivery of course materials and an online exam.
The discounts on webinars can provide information on previous topics, such as the R software, use of drones in assessment, or even previous webinars on Excel.
April's live webinar, on Excel Can Do That!? Part 3, will be April 15th. Participants can learn how the new power features in Excel can be used to enhance assessors’ workflows, gain actionable insights, and increase productivity.
