The Peabody Ducks march to and from the Grand Lobby daily at 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. in a time-honored tradition dating back to 1933.

The Peabody Memphis is central to many downtown Memphis attractions, just two blocks from the world-famous Beale Street entertainment district, Peabody Place and the Peabody Place Museum, the Memphis Museum of Rock & Soul,  and FedEx Forum - home of the Memphis Grizzlies. Only minutes away are more Memphis tourist attractions such as the STAX Museum of American Soul Music, Memphis Zoo, Graceland and Sun Studios. Easily accessible by trolley is the Civil Rights Museum, Pyramid, and the South Main Street arts and boutique district, where creative and unique art and fashions can be found.

Memphis International Airport (MEM) is just 15 minutes from The Peabody and offers direct flights to/from most major cities. Memphis is the hub of Northwest Airlines and is also serviced by Air Tran, American Airlines, American Eagle, Continental Airlines, Delta, KLM, Pinnacle Airlines, United Airlines, and US Airways.
