IAAO serves the assessment profession as the internationally recognized source for property appraisal, assessment administration, and property tax policy. One of the Association’s principal goals and core benefits is connecting members. IAAO offers the opportunity to interact with expert peers through information exchange – both in person and electronic – in a variety of settings determined by member needs.
The leadership of IAAO continually reaches out to members and cooperatively develops programs to provide services they require.
IAAO Representatives are the “eyes, ears and voice” of the Association, and provide the “grass roots” support of the organization. One of the primary objectives of the IAAO Representative is to assist the IAAO Membership Department in the recruitment and retention of members.
Councils and Sections provide an opportunity for interaction with others of a particular shared interest.
Chapters provide local support for advancing the IAAO mission and goals. Affiliates are organizations with similar interests and purposes.
